Latest report of the LSC Scientific Committee

The latest report of the LSC Scientific Committee is available.

The Committee has evaluated NEXT very positively, recognizing the excellent work that has been done during the last months and encourages us to concentrate on the forthcoming data-taking period.

More light for NEW

In order to collect more light in the PMTs, the tracking plane is being covered with masks made of Teflon, a high reflective material. In the picture, the process of mounting the Teflon masks: dark is turning into white... the Michael Jackson effect!

PhD fellowship in Valencia

The IFIC group of the NEXT experiment offers one PhD fellowship for three years within the "Santiago Grisolía" program, starting from September 2016.
