I obtained a PhD in 2010 by the University of Valencia scoring excellent cum laude under the defense committee formed by Jos\u00e9 Bernab\u00e9u (IFIC, Valencia), Francisco Botella (IFIC, Valencia), Marcello Giorgi (Universita di Pisa), Tatsuya Nakada (EPFL, Lausanne), Vincent Tisserand (LAPP, Annecy) and supervised by Prof. Mart\u00ednez Vidal. The research work was carried out between Instituto de F\u00edsica Corpuscular (IFIC, Spain) and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (Stanford, USA). Later, I spent four years at the \u00c9cole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9ral de Laussane as a Postdoc researcher to work at the LHCb detector at CERN. In 2014, I got a grant founded by the European Research Council (ERC)  under the Advanced Grant 339787-NEXT and joined the NEXT collaboration at IFIC with Prof. G\u00f3mez Cadenas (co-spokesperson of the NEXT experiment). In 2017,  I have been awarded with a Marie Sklodowska Curie Research Fellows (No. 740055) at IFIC which has supported (159, 126 eu) my own research line.  In addition, I worked 1 year at the University of Texas at Arlington with the Presidential Distinguished Professor of Physics David R. Nygren. Moreover, I am currently the project leader of the DEMO++ detector at IFIC. My research group is comprised of 11 engineers, 7 physicists and 3 PhD students from several institutions.  I have managed so far a budget  of 85k euros from  my institution IFIC in  equipment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have published 486 articles with an average citation of 69.7 according to INSPIRE. My most relevant contributions have been published in Phys. Rev. D, Phys. Rev. Lett and in JHEP.  I have attended 13 international and national conferences, among the most prestigious international conferences in the fields that I have worked in. I have been invited to give two seminars about my research at the University of Kyoto and at EPFL. Recently, I have also been invited to give a seminar at Cinvestav (Mexico) and at La Universidad de Nari\u00f1o (Colombia). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have made contributions to physics measurements (in BaBar, LHCb and NEXT), detector operations (Babar silicon vertex tracker expert, shifts as leader, coordinator of data production and data quality) and to detector R&D (LHCb upgrade, NEXT upgrade). I have been reviewer of more than 10 papers at BaBar, LHCb and NEXT. In addition, I have been assistant professor for 3 years at EPFL and I am currently teaching assistant at the University of Valencia. Moreover, I have mentored 3 undergrad students and I am currently co-advising a PhD student working in the DEMO++ experiment. Finally I have participated in many different outreach activities at EPFL, CERN, Texas and IFIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
