Our collaborator David Nygren has been awarded the American Physical Society’s inaugural “Particles and Fields Instrumentation Award” for his invention in the 1970s of the Time Project Chamber, a cornerstone of particle and nuclear physics experiments, which is the chamber used in the NEXT experiment. Congratulations, Dave!
